I grew up with Tanky and all the others and what separated him from us was his huge infectious smile that he took from childhood through to adulthood. He would always stop and say hello if he saw you and immediately that huge grin would appear. I don't think you could ever meet a nicer guy and he was a true gent in life and will be very sorely missed. Unfortunately this message comes from Afghanistan and I'm very upset I cannot be there to pay my respects, but I will take a few moments later today locally at the same time as back home when his funeral takes place and say a prayer for Tanky and his family. Tanky will be very sorely missed and Aberdare will miss that infectious smile and the true gent that he is. RIP Dear Friend, Andrew 'Tanky' Samuel.
